The yearly exhibit of CANstruction is back! It has new sculptures and some exciting updates for this year’s event.
CANstruction is an exhibit displayed at NorthPark Center every October for two weeks. The purpose of CANstruction is to raise awareness and donations for the North Texas Food Bank. Over 20 architecture and engineering firms get their teams together to build sculptures made of canned goods. You can find donation boxes at each display while the exhibit is running. Every dollar donated counts for a vote for your favorite sculpture and accounts for 3 meals donated to the North Texas Food Bank. At the end of the event one sculpture is given the “Fan Favorite” award.
Now for the exciting updates! TangoTab is pleased to announce that we are the technology partner for CANstruction. That means for the first time you will be able to vote, share and donate all online at OneCanDallas.com.
Also this year, CANstruction is partnering with the world-renowned Nasher Sculpture Center, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The theme for this year is “Art of the Cans,” and the center will be presenting a one-time award for the “Most Artistic Design.”
CANstruction in Dallas will be running from October 5 – 20. Don’t forget to vote at NorthPark Center and/or online at OneCanDallas.com.
